Leadpages vs ClickFunnels (2026): The Numbers Everyone Else Has Wrong

Leadpages has roughly halved its prices, and its own pricing page has not fully caught up — the page title and the FAQ still quote the old figures while the plan cards show the new ones. So here is the comparison as it actually stands today: ClickFunnels’ cheapest plan is $81 a month and Leadpages’ middle plan is $80.

The finding that matters

These two are usually presented as “the cheap one and the expensive one”. That framing is now wrong in both directions, depending on what you need.

If you only need pages
Leadpages Grow is $40 a month against ClickFunnels Launch at $81 — less than half, and $492 a year cheaper.
If you need email as well
Leadpages includes no email sending. Add a platform for 10,000 contacts and the total typically passes ClickFunnels Launch, which bundles those 10,000 contacts at $81.

Why most comparisons of these two are out of date

Leadpages has restructured. There are now two product lines: HTML Pub, a publishing-only tier starting at $4 a month, and Leadpages proper, the conversion-optimisation product starting at $40.

The prices came down sharply with it. And the rollout is visibly mid-flight: on the day we checked, the pricing page’s own browser title read “Leadpages Pricing from $99/mo” and its FAQ still described Grow as $99, Optimize as $199 and Scale as $399 — while the plan cards and the full comparison table on the same page showed $50, $100 and $200, dropping to $40, $80 and $160 on annual billing. The body copy agrees with the cards, stating that Leadpages starts “at $40/mo billed annually”.

We read that page twice, in separate loads, and the card prices were identical both times. We have used the card and table figures throughout, because three places on the page agree on them and two stale ones do not.

The practical consequence for you: nearly every Leadpages vs ClickFunnels comparison currently ranking was written against the older, higher numbers. If a page tells you Leadpages starts at $37, $74 or $99, it is describing a price you can no longer pay.

What each one costs now

Plan Monthly Paid yearly What you get
Leadpages Grow $50 $40 Unlimited pages and traffic, 4 domains, manual A/B testing
Leadpages Optimize $100 $80 Adds Smart Traffic routing, heatmaps, auto-personalisation, 3 seats
Leadpages Scale $200 $160 Adds workspaces, audit logs, 10 seats, dedicated CSM
ClickFunnels Launch $97 $81 10,000 contacts, email, unlimited funnels, 3 courses, 2 seats
ClickFunnels Scale $197 $164 75,000 contacts, 6 courses, 5 seats, unlimited domains
ClickFunnels Optimize $297 $248 150,000 contacts, 10 courses, 10 seats

Read from both vendors’ own pricing pages on 18 September 2026. Leadpages also sells publishing-only HTML Pub plans at $4, $12 and $20 a month on annual billing; those carry no A/B testing and are not comparable to ClickFunnels, so they are left out above. ClickFunnels Dominate is $5,997 a year and is outside this range.

What $80 buys on each side

The most useful way to read this comparison is to hold the price still and look at what changes. At roughly eighty dollars a month on annual billing you can have either of these, and they are not remotely the same purchase.

At about $80/month ClickFunnels Launch — $81 Leadpages Optimize — $80
Landing pages Unlimited funnels Unlimited pages
Email + contacts 10,000 contacts, email included None — connect your own
Courses / membership 3 courses Not offered
Checkout and upsells Included, no transaction fee Not offered
A/B testing Split testing Manual A/B, 4 variants
AI traffic routing — Smart Traffic
Heatmaps — Click and scroll
Lead enrichment — 5,000 IP lookups/mo
Team seats 2 3

Read down the two columns and the products barely overlap. ClickFunnels sells you the selling machine — pages, email, checkout, upsells, courses, all in one subscription with no cut taken on sales. Leadpages sells you the page and the science of making it convert — testing, routing, heatmaps, and information about who is visiting.

Neither list is better. They answer different questions. The mistake is treating the price similarity as evidence that they are alternatives.

The email gap that decides it

This is the part worth doing the arithmetic on, because it reverses the conclusion most comparisons reach.

Leadpages’ plan comparison lists forms, webhooks and integrations, but no email sending allowance. Leads flow out to your CRM or email platform; the sending is not part of what you are buying. ClickFunnels Launch, by contrast, includes 10,000 contacts with email sending at $81 a month.

So if email is part of how you sell, the real comparison is not $40 against $81. It is $40 plus an email platform against $81 with one included. At a 10,000-contact list, mainstream email tools generally land somewhere in the region of $70 to $100 a month, which puts the Leadpages route at roughly $110 to $140 — comfortably above ClickFunnels.

That flips the usual verdict. For anyone running a real list, the platform with the higher sticker price is often the cheaper stack. For anyone who already pays for email and is happy with it, Leadpages Grow at $40 is genuinely half the price and the saving is real.

The $70–$100 range is our estimate of typical list-based email pricing at 10,000 contacts, offered to show the shape of the calculation. It is not a quoted figure from any vendor. Price your own email tool at your actual list size before deciding — that one number settles this comparison more than anything else on this page.

How to actually choose

Leadpages if

  • You need landing pages and already have email sorted
  • Conversion testing is a weekly habit, not an aspiration — A/B testing starts at $40
  • You want heatmaps and visitor intelligence without buying Hotjar separately
  • You are not selling courses, memberships or upsell sequences

ClickFunnels if

  • You need pages, email, checkout and upsells in one subscription
  • You sell courses or run a membership — Leadpages does not do this at all
  • Your list is large enough that bundled contacts outweigh the sticker price
  • You want the option of selling products without a separate store

One difference in how you can evaluate them. ClickFunnels gives you 14 days with a 30-day money-back guarantee behind it. Leadpages gives you 7 days and takes a card at checkout, charging on day seven unless you cancel. Both are workable, but the Leadpages window is short for a product whose value is testing — you would need traffic running through a live test inside a week to judge it properly.

If the honest answer is that ClickFunnels is more than you need, our ClickFunnels alternatives page covers the cheaper funnel builders, and ClickFunnels pricing breaks down which limit pushes people up a tier first.

Frequently asked questions

Is Leadpages cheaper than ClickFunnels?

On the plan alone, yes, and by more than it used to be. Leadpages Grow is $40 a month on annual billing against ClickFunnels Launch at $81 — $492 a year cheaper. But Leadpages includes no email sending, so if you need email for a list of around 10,000 contacts, adding a platform typically takes the Leadpages total past ClickFunnels, which bundles those contacts. Figures read from both vendor pricing pages on 18 September 2026.

Has Leadpages changed its pricing?

Yes, substantially. Leadpages now splits into HTML Pub publishing plans from $4 a month and Leadpages CRO plans from $40, both on annual billing. On the day we checked, its own page title and FAQ still quoted the older $99, $199 and $399 figures while the plan cards and comparison table showed $50, $100 and $200 before the annual discount. We used the card and table figures, and read the page twice to confirm they were stable.

Does Leadpages include email marketing?

No. Its plan comparison lists forms, webhooks and 200-plus integrations, but no email sending allowance — leads are passed to your own CRM or email tool. ClickFunnels includes email on every plan, from 10,000 contacts on Launch up to 400,000 on Dominate. This is the single biggest cost difference between the two, and the one most comparisons leave out.

Can Leadpages sell courses or memberships?

No. Leadpages is a landing page and conversion optimisation platform — pages, testing, heatmaps and lead capture. ClickFunnels includes course hosting on every plan, from 3 courses on Launch to 20 on Dominate, plus checkout and upsell steps. If courses or a membership area are part of your plan, this is not really a comparison.

Which has the better free trial?

ClickFunnels offers 14 days with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Leadpages offers 7 days but requires a card at checkout and charges on day seven unless you cancel first. Leadpages’ trial is full-featured on whichever plan you pick, with no feature restrictions, but a week is tight for judging a product whose main value is A/B testing.

How we compiled this

Every plan price, limit, trial term and feature on this page was read directly from Leadpages’ and ClickFunnels’ own pricing pages on 18 September 2026, and is published as a dated snapshot rather than a permanent claim. Where Leadpages’ page contradicted itself, we have said so explicitly and explained which figures we used and why, rather than quietly picking one. The only number here that is not read from a vendor is the $70–$100 email estimate, which is flagged as an estimate at the point it is used. We have not run campaigns on either platform, so this page compares what they cost and include, not how they feel to use.
